Pyrio is a Mario clone written in python. It uses graphics
from Secret Maryo Chronicles .
This project was intended to be a prototype but it turned out to be quite playable. At the
moment there are only three levels, but creating your own level pak is easy as cake.

If you find any bugs or have suggestions for the project, please report them at our
issue tracker at the project website.

Faq:

- The game runs slow: Make sure you are running fullscreen and hardware acceleration & double buffering are on (Video menu). We also have psyco support though this will only work if you use the source tar. If the result is still slow, select a lower resolution.

- The game is too hard, are there any cheats?: Sure :-) Just check the source for some keys that might come in handy.
